1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Gilded Companions ("the Platform," "we," "us"), operating at gild3d.com from California, USA, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.
3. Nature of the Service
Gilded Companions is an online introduction and social networking platform. We facilitate connections between members; we do not arrange, broker, or compensate any in-person meeting or activity, and we are not a party to any arrangement members make with one another. Members are solely responsible for their own conduct, decisions, and interactions.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate profile information and not to impersonate any person or entity.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, to harass or threaten other members, to post content that is fraudulent or misleading, to solicit money or financial assistance from other members, or to violate any applicable local, state, or federal law.
6. Verification
We may require identity or photo verification for certain features. Verification reduces — but does not eliminate — the risk of fraudulent profiles. We do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or background of any member.
7. Payments & Subscriptions
Paid membership tiers are billed as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with notice to active subscribers.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee compatibility outcomes, the accuracy of member-provided information, or uninterrupted service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gilded Companions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or your interactions with other members.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
